A free strength-based program focusing on building confidence, resilience, setting meaningful goals, and fostering positive relationships, raising up a more resilient generation.

RESILIENT is a course designed for male and female students in Grades 7-10.

RESILIENT is suitable for students showing leadership potential, to help further develop and expand their skills. Alternatively it can be used for at-risk students, to enhance their ability to making positive life decisions and engage better in their schooling. This strength-based program focuses on building confidence, resilience, setting meaningful goals, and fostering positive relationships. It complies with and

compliments the National Student Wellbeing Program and the National Student Wellbeing Framework by providing extra support and resources to student wellbeing.

Resilient runs for 8 weeks, approximately 1 hour per week (or 1 period/session per week). We encourage schools to schedule weekly sessions in the timetable during subjects that students would be willing to miss and avoid Sports and electives.

The course culminates in a group lunch to celebrate the completion of the program. It is facilitated by a trusted Youth Alive Course Provider.

The program is designed for 5-12 students in each cohort, and we recommend selecting students who are facing similar challenges or have shared interests to help with group dynamics. Throughout Resilient, students will be encouraged to embrace respect, resilience, and self-belief daily.
